Every Wednesday a coach from the Iowa football team meets with the media. This week it was assistant head coach and linebackers coach Seth Wallace that met with us to discuss the state of the Iowa football team, particularly on the defensive side of the ball.

Wallace talked a lot about tackling. Coming off a very poor performance last week, Wallace was pointed in his comments about how they are approaching practice this week and how tough the film session was on Monday. He also talks about how he sees that next wave of players at the linebacker position performing in practice and when they get in the field, particularly on special teams. He also gives his thoughts on the cornerback position opposite Jermari Harris. Could true freshman Jaylen Watson be an option this week?
