The 2024 Iowa football schedule is out.

The Big Ten will look quite a bit different in 2024 with the addition of four schools from the west coast on the schedule. Two of those new members will appear on the Iowa football schedule next year.

Iowa will host the University of Washington on October 12th and they will travel to UCLA to play the Bruins in the Rose Bowl on November 9th.

The non-conference portion of the schedule was already released. The Hawkeyes will host Illinois State on August 31st, Iowa State on September 7th, and Troy on September 14th.

The Hawkeyes will hit the road for the first time with a trip to Minnesota to try and win back Floyd of Rosedale from the Gophers on September 21st.

One unique aspect of the Iowa schedule in 2024 is that they will have two bye weeks. The first will take place on September 28th and the second on November 16th, following the trip to play UCLA.

The stretch of Big Ten games from October 5th to November 9th will be challenging with trips to Ohio State, Michigan State, and UCLA along with hosting Washington, Northwestern, and Wisconsin.

The Hawkeyes will wrap up their 2024 regular season with a trip to Maryland and then host Nebraska in the traditional Black Friday spot.

Start times and TV designations will be released sometime in 2024.
