Kirk Ferentz wraps up Kids Day practice
The Iowa football team had the one and only open practice before they being the 2024 season. While the general feeling around the program was that the Iowa offense had made progress under new coordinator Tim Lester the Hawkeye struggled on Saturday, particularly in the pass game.
Follow the open practice, Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz met with the media for about ten minutes and discussed the performance of the quarterbacks, in particular Cade McNamara and Brendan Sullivan. He also talked about how this team just needs to continue to practice and improve. Finally, we get a few injury updates from the Iowa head coach.
