News and Notes from Iowa football
The Iowa football players are back on campus and they met with the media for the first time since arriving back in Iowa City. Of the players that spoke with the media, several were relatively new faces, including two new transfers speaking for the first time. Those two players were Virginia linebacker transfer Nick Jackson and Miami (OH) offensive line transfer Rusty Feth.
We learn quite a bit about the trip to California led by Cade McNamara that included most of Iowa’s wide receivers and tight ends Erick All and Luke Lachey. McNamara discusses what they team got out of the trip and he gave his thoughts on portal addition Kaleb Brown and how they are developing a bond on the field.
Seth Anderson discusses the trip and the start of 7 on 7 work for the Hawkeyes earlier today. Iowa’s potential starting linebackers Jay Higgins and Nick Jackson spoke today to discuss their strong relationship and Jackson weighs in on why he chose Iowa and his relationship with linebacker coach Seth Wallace.
