Overall, Iowa was able to 60 snaps on offense. We take a look at the grades from the Michigan State game via the folks at Pro Football Focus.

QUARTERBACK

Cade McNamara – 66.6 overall grade

Deacon Hill – 50.7 overall grade

GRADE ANALYSIS – McNamara lasted nine snaps and was graded at 72.0 in passing. Hill played the final 51 snaps and earned a 48.4 passing grade, which is probably so low because of a few risky throws. He did have a 68.3 grade running with the football.

RUNNING BACK

Kamari Moulton – 66.4 overall grade

Hayden Large – 57.9 overall grade

Leshon Williams – 55.8 overall grade

Terrell Washington Jr. – 53.5 overall grade

GRADE ANALYSIS – Not a whole lot of good on the ground for the Hawkeyes with just 61 yards rushing. Kamari Moulton and Leshon Williams both graded out in the mid 70’s in pass blocking, which is impressive for both. The best run grade was 55.5 by Moulton.

WIDE RECEIVER

Seth Anderson – 56.9 overall grade

Kaleb Brown – 56.1 overall grade

Nico Ragaini – 53.4 overall grade

Diante Vines – 48.3 overall grade

GRADE ANALYSIS – There was plenty said and written about the lack of work being given to the Iowa wide receivers. They were more active in terms of having footballs thrown in their direction. Part of the season for the low grade for Vines was he was credited with three drops.

TIGHT END

Erick All – 74.4 overall grade

Steven Stillianos – 61.5 overall grade

Addison Ostrenga – 54.1 overall grade

GRADE ANALYSIS – With Luke Lachey out, Iowa is generally going with three tight ends. Erick All was the leader for the offense in terms of Pro Football Focus grades. He had an 80.0 passing grade, but his run blocking was not good at 37.1. Stillianos seems to be trending way up right now.

OFFENSIVE LINE

Connor Colby – 59.0 overall grade

Gennings Dunker – 58.6 overall grade

Nick DeJong – 53.8 overall grade

Mason Richman – 53.0 overall grade

Logan Jones – 46.7 overall grade

Rusty Feth – 45.9 overall grade

GRADE ANALYSIS – It was a second straight rough outing for the Iowa offensive line. Grade wise no one broke 60. DeJong, Jones, and Feth were all in the 40’s with their run blocking. Actually, Feth was even worse at 37.1. There were five Iowa linemen above 70, with Logan Jones leading the way at 80.8.
