Iowa Kids Day Practice Photo Gallery
It was an absolutely perfect day on Saturday in Iowa City. There was not a cloud in the sky and a plenty of smiles on the faces of the kids at Kinnick Stadium. That was particularly true of the group of Kids Captains for the 2023 Iowa football season, who came out of the tunnel with the Hawkeye seniors while “Back in Black” was blaring over the sound system.
There was also plenty of action on the field, including getting our first look at Cade McNamara leading the Iowa offense in 11 on 11 situations. It also gave us a look at several new skill position players, like Kaleb Brown and Seth Anderson. Plus we saw quite a few players on defense have very strong days creating turnovers and getting into the backfield.
