Tuesday Iowa Football Player Presser Notes
As is tradition, the Iowa football players met with the media on Tuesday morning to discuss the upcoming match-up with Penn State. The Nittany Lions present the toughest challenge to date for the Hawkeyes, particularly on the road where Iowa will face a “White Out” crowd of more than 100,000 fans.
We spoke with several Iowa players, including Diante Vines about the upcoming game. Vines shares a moving story about his uncle recently passing away and dedicating his touchdown reception last weekend to his memory.
We also speak with Jay Higgins and Logan Lee about the rugged Penn State offensive line and two very good running backs. On the offensive side, we spoke with Seth Anderson about the Next Man In mentality of the the skill position players with three key Hawkeyes likely out on Saturday night.
