Iowa wearing alternate uniforms against Minnesota
Iowa football is about tradition. One of those traditions is that they rarely put together alternate uniform combinations. But, that appears to be changing.
For the third time this season, it appears that the Hawkeyes will be wearing an alternate uniform combination. This time instead of the traditional home look of black jersey with gold pants, the Iowa football team will be wearing gold jersey and black pants when they host Minnesota on Saturday afternoon.

Iowa’s social media team shared the gold jersey look on Thursday evening and then director of recruiting Tyler Barnes shared a photo of the gold jerseys in the Iowa locker room.
Earlier this year, Iowa showed a different look on the road when they traveled to Penn State. Iowa wore their traditional white jerseys but they wore black pants instead of gold. Then when Iowa played Michigan State in the Kinnick Black Out game, the Hawkeyes wore black jersey and black pants.
