Nick Jackson enjoying being a Hawkeye
When Nick Jackson was asked about his thoughts at being at Iowa he got a big smile on his face and said, “It’s been awesome.” That’s a good sign that the graduate transfer linebacker from Virginia after he arrived in Iowa City this past month.
In the last three years, Jackson was a tackling machine for the Cavs, logging over 100 tackles in each campaign. He has fit in very well with his new teammates, particularly fellow linebacker and also his housemate, Jay Higgins. Jackson discusses his friendship with Higgins and he also talks about the influence that he has felt from position coach Seth Wallace.
