Hawkeyes talk end of season and loss to Illinois
The dream for every college basketball player is to reach the NCAA Tournament. When that dream ends, emotions pour out in the locker room. That’s exactly what happened for the Iowa Hawkeyes when they fell to Illinois in the Big Ten Tournament. Following the loss, the emotions were running strong in the locker room and we were able to visit with Pryce Sandfort and Drew Thelwell about it.
Sandfort talked about the officiating in the game, the play of his brother tonight and all season long, and the emotions of the loss. Thelwell talked about his one year with the Hawkeyes and what this has been like for him.
