Hawkeyes happy to be home this weekend
One of the biggest perks of having a successful season in women’s college basketball is that if you win games, you get to play at home. That was the case for the Iowa Hawkeyes, who get to play potentially two more games at a sold out Carver-Hawkeye Arena, starting Saturday afternoon.
On Friday, Hannah Stuelke and Kate Martin spoke to the media about the upcoming game, the fan support and how that helps them, and how it helps that they have played in front of huge crowds where other teams have not heading into post season play.
