Bowen getting comfortable in the Big Ten
The jump from high school to college is always a big one for any basketball player. That includes a player like Dasonte Bowen, who has played high level basketball at the prep level. But, the current Hawkeye freshman is navigating his first year in the Big Ten.
Bowen, who is playing just under 13 minutes a game and averaging 4.5 points and 1.5 assists per game for the Hawkeyes, is staying aggressive on the court and he feels that it is helping him adjust to basketball at this level. We spoke with Bowen to discuss facing Michigan and his adjustment to playing in the Big Ten and what he has learned this season.
