Day Four: Iowa Basketball Coaching Search Update
While we haven’t had many coaching searches from the major sports, when they do, it usually has a day like this where rumors and reality collided and made for a challenging day of fact vs. fiction. That was the case for the Iowa basketball coaching search today.
It all started in the morning with rumblings from Iowa City about the Iowa athletic director being active. Then it filtered over to Morgantown, WV where the Moutaineers declined a trip to The Crown event later this month in Las Vegas after missing out on the NCAA Tournament. There was also plenty of discuss with regard to perhaps Iowa’s top candidate, Darian DeVries and where things might be headed with him.
