Hawkeyes talk picking up win in the Big Ten Tournament
When you slide in as the 15th seed in the conference tournament it means that you are going in with low expectations. In poker that means you will have a shot, but it’s a chip and a chair situation. Don’t tell that to the Iowa men’s basketball team. On Wednesday night they did more than survive, they also advanced, beating Ohio State 77-71 in the Big Ten Tournament. Iowa will now face 7th seeded Illinois on Thursday evening.
We spoke with Pryce Sandfort, Payton Sandfort, Josh Dix, and Ladji Dembele about their massive contributions to the victory over the Buckeyes and the huge shots from Pryce in the second half, including a massive three point field goal.
