Hawkeyes talk win over Hornets
There were several key players in Iowa’s 98-67 victory over Alabama State. The Hawkeyes had four players in double figures, led by Patrick McCaffery with 22 points, which was two short of tying his career high. What was equally impressive as the point total was the fact that Iowa dished out 27 assists and had zero turnovers in the second half of the game.
Those assist totals included seven from freshman point guard Brock Harding. Following the win. Harding and McCaffery spoke to the media about the win over Alabama State and how they really improved taking care of the ball in the second half.
