Iowa linebackers ready for one final game at Kinnick
Sometimes players just immediately have chemistry on and off the football field. When Nick Jackson arrived as a graduate transfer from Virginia, he thought he would do one year at Iowa and then move on to chase what was next for him. Instead he stayed two years and also found a life long best friend in fellow linebacker Jay Higgins.
The two linebackers came back together and now they will have one last ride at Kinnick Stadium on Friday evening when the Hawkeyes host Nebraska. On Tuesday, Jackson and Higgins met with the media to talk about their friendship and the fact that this is the second senior day for Higgins and he hopes his dad improves his outfit this time around and how Jackson is participating in his third senior day as a college player.
