Angry Hawkeyes ready for NCAA Tournament
Filip Rebraca isn’t one to hide his emotions. It was clear that he and his Iowa teammates were not pleased with their performance in the loss to Ohio State at the Big Ten Tournament. That loss has stuck with them this weekend and will likely live with them heading into Thursday’s NCAA Tournament game against Auburn.
Rebraca put is bluntly, “pissed off”.
Connor McCaffery weighed in with, “Guys weren’t definitely in good moods, without a doubt. Practice tomorrow is going to be a war.”
But, Rebraca, McCaffery, and Kris Murray are anxious to get back on the court and pick up a win in the NCAA Tournament. While they don’t really have any idea about the Auburn team this year, they are well aware that with their Tigers campus just two hours from Birmingham and that will be facing a pretty hostile crowd on Thursday evening.
