Hawkeye running backs enjoying new position coach

Just a few weeks before the start of spring football, the Iowa running back room underwent a change in leadership. Ladell Betts, who was the position coach for several years, moved on to the same job, but in the NFL for the New York Giants.
Kirk Ferentz moved fairly quickly and found an experienced person at the position in Omar Young, who had recently coached the position for the New England Patriots. The two most experienced backs in the Iowa running back room, Kamari Moulton and Jaziun Patterson, like what they have heard from their position coach. They like the way that he has been teaching the position and they really appreciate his great sense of humor.
Moulton and Patterson talk about their new position coach, how things are different, what it’s like in year two with the Tim Lester offense, and what they have seen from the younger backs.
