Iowa wide receivers impressing this spring
It’s year two of the Iowa offense under the direction of Tim Lester. While much of the focus has been on the overhauling of the quarterback position under Lester, the other area where there has been quite a bit of change is at wide receiver. If you listen to the whispers around the program, they will tell you that this is as deep and talented as this position group has been in quite a while.
On Thursday, we spoke with one of the now veteran players at the wide receiver position, Seth Anderson. He’s healthy this spring and has been very impressive in practice. He talks about how the offense has improved this spring in the second year with Tim Lester’s offense. Then we also visit with new transfer Sam Phillips, who discusses how he ended up at Iowa and what he has thought about the offense thus far.
