The Iowa women’s basketball team has drifted towards NCAA Tournament bubble territory in the last few weeks. But, that will no longer be the case at least for this week after the Hawkeyes picked up their biggest win of the season, an upset victory over #4 USC inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena on a day where the program honored the great Caitlin Clark.

Following the win and the post game ceremony honoring their programs all-time leading scorer, Iowa head coach Jan Jensen along with players Addison O’Grady and Lucy Olsen. They discuss the hot start for the Hawkeyes against the Trojans and then how things went sideways in the second half. Then Iowa came up clutch in the fourth period, particularly O’Grady and Olsen. The Villanova transfer scored 23 of her team high 28 points after the halftime break. Coach Jensen also discusses Iowa’s struggles against pressure and how they fixed it, along with the overall emotions of the day that included honoring the all-time leading scorer in women’s college basketball history, Caitlin Clark.
