In an effort to combat the summer blues I’ve put together an up-to-the-minute illustration of just about everything one might hope to know about the Hawkeye men’s wrestling roster entering the 2024-25 season.

(The full version actually exists as an ongoing, multicolored Excel document that I’m personally quite fond of – and that any of you curious folks out there may access in full RIGHT HERE.)

From a projected depth chart to eligibility information to roster demographics and more, my hope is that this can be a one-stop shop for inquiring Iowa fans leading up to and through next season.

Obviously, certain elements such as weight classes, redshirts, etc. are liable to change in the months ahead, but I’ve done my best to capture how I believe things will shake out based on the concrete information available right now.

In late-August, the 2024-25 roster was finally released on the team’s official website, and even it appears to have some discrepancies in terms of certain wrestlers who are expected to compete at other weights this season.

(Until further notice I’m assuming all freshmen redshirts will be maintained.)

However things ultimately come to pass with those, among other potential developments, I’ll adjust this document accordingly.

For now, this is just one guy’s (hopefully) semi-educated outlook.

Hope you all enjoy!
