The Iowa Women’s Basketball team is one of the most exciting in all of college basketball. They score a lot of points, have the nation’s best player (Caitlin Clark) and they made the national championship game last year. When the Hawkeyes are on TV, people watch. Their national title matchup against LSU drew a record 9.9 million viewers. That is if you were thinking people didn’t watch.

NBC is hoping they can gain some subscriptions this season and credit to them, putting a top five team that includes the most exciting player in the country is good way to do it. A subscription to Peacock is $5.99 a month and the Hawkeyes only have games on the streaming service for two months. There are a few games that are worth the price. A trip to West Lafayette in early January is an intriguing, while February has a home matchup against Michigan and the highly-anticipated road trip to Bloomington to face a top ten Hoosiers team.
