Jan Jensen, Hawkeyes excited to get the season underway
With an exhibition win under their belt, the Iowa women’s basketball team is ready to turn their focus to the games that count. In her first year as head coach of the Hawkeyes, Jan Jensen is excited to get things underway.
Jensen met with the media on Monday morning to cover a number of topics ahead of Wednesday’s season opener. She spoke about the battle for the starting spot at center, provided an update on a couple of injuries and more. We also caught up with Taylor McCabe and Syd Affolter to get their thoughts on the beginning of the season.
