The Iowa women’s basketball team is approaching the halfway point of the season, with a matchup on Thursday against Loyola-Chicago being the only game remaining before the Christmas break. The Hawkeyes are off to a 11-1 start on the season and are currently ranked #4 in the AP Poll. After a nine-day break, Iowa will get back into Big Ten play with games against Minnesota (Dec 30), Michigan State (Jan 2) and Rutgers (Jan 5). They won their Big Ten opener against Wisconsin back on December 10th.

Today, Associate Head Coach Jan Jensen took the place of Lisa Bluder and met with the media to preview the matchup against the Ramblers tomorrow night. She spoke about the matchup, if Hannah Stuelke will be in the lineup against Loyola, thoughts on the first 12 games of the season, the progress of Sharon Goodman and more.

The Hawkeyes will tipoff against Loyola-Chicago at 5:00pm CT on Thursday, with the game streaming on BTN+.
