Jarriett Buie off to an impressive start at Iowa
It’s still early, but at media day and on Saturday at Iowa’s Kids Day practice, Jarriett Buie was one of the true freshmen who was turning heads. The Florida native admits that early on in his high school career, he couldn’t catch a pass. Now, according to his position coach Kelton Copeland and his teammates, Buie is catching everything in sight.
The freshman wide receiver spoke at media day about how he became a good wide receiver during his high school career and why he is off to a strong start in an Iowa uniform. He also talks about how the veteran wide receivers like Nico Ragaini and Diante Vines have been helping him adjust to playing wide receiver at the college level.
