Hawkeyes offer Jaxx DeJean

The Iowa Hawkeyes extended a new scholarship offer today to Class of 2027 standout Jaxx DeJean.
The younger brother of Iowa consensus All-American Cooper DeJean, who is now with the Philadelphia Eagles, Jaxx is a 6-foot-4, 200-pound wide receiver/tight end that just finished his freshman year of high school at OABCIG.
“I was just in shock,” said DeJean. “It left me speechless.”
As a freshman, DeJean showed great playmaking ability, finishing the season with 37 catches for 500 yards and seven touchdowns receiving as well as 20 carries for 128 yards and five touchdowns rushing. Defensively, he had 28 tackles and four interceptions.
