Higgins becoming a vocal leader on Iowa defense
In the past few years, it was Jack Campbell and Seth Benson serving as the voice of the Iowa defense. The duo have moved on to chase their NFL dreams and veteran linebacker Jay Higgins is now becoming a vocal leader for the Hawkeyes.
Higgins talks about what he learned from Campbell in the last few years about leading the defense, but also knowing that he has to be who he is on the field. He also talks about his relationship with graduate transfer Nick Jackson and how they have gotten close very quickly during the recruiting process and now living in the same house together.
