Jay Higgins appreciates NIL experiences
The world of college athletes has changed quite a bit since Jay Higgins arrived in Iowa City. When he committed to Iowa, there was no name, image, and likeness opportunities for Hawkeye football players.
These days, thanks to the work of the Iowa Swarm Collective and other business opportunities, Higgins and his teammates have made a difference in the Iowa City community and beyond. This past weekend was another example as Higgins and several of his teammates traveled to Humboldt, Iowa to play a softball game against players from Iowa State. The game benefited the Make A Wish Foundation and raised over $200,000.
