Jaylen Watson learning from the veterans
One advantage of being a freshman defensive on this Iowa team is that there are plenty of veterans that you can lean on for advice and learn from on the field. Jaylen Watson is doing just that in his first fall camp with the Hawkeyes. He’s rooming with cornerback Jermari Harris and making a few plays in camp.
Watson spoke at media day about what his first camp has been like. If he thinks there is a chance that he will play this fall, and his decision to play defense and not offense at the college level.
