Jaziun Patterson continues his rise in Iowa's backfield
One year ago, Jaziun Patterson was a true freshman swimming upstream when it comes to finding his way to the field. But, something clicked during Iowa’s bowl prep for the Florida native. He started rising up the depth chart and earned praise from Kirk Ferentz leading up to the Music City Bowl.
That rise has continued for Patterson. He’s built upon the gains he made during bowl prep and that carried over to the spring and into fall camp. Patterson talks about what happened for him when things started to click for him. He also talks about how he will likely have a much bigger role this fall on Iowa’s special teams.
