Part of the tradition of Iowa football is for veteran players to bring along new prospects as they arrive on campus and educate them on the right way to operate as a college football player. When Jermari Harris arrived in Iowa City it was Michael Ojemudia that took him under his wing and showed him the right path.

These days there are new players arriving and Harris is doing what others did for him and leading the wide eyed freshmen to do things the right way from the start in the Iowa program.

He discusses how he has been leading those younger players and how important that is in their development. Harris also talks about the start of 7 on 7 this week between the Hawkeye players and how competitive that is and how anxious he is to get back on the field this fall after missing last season due to injury.
