Jon Budmayr talks Iowa wide receivers
This week the Wednesday assistant coach interview was with Iowa wide receivers coach Jon Budmayr. While he has been on the Iowa staff in other roles the past few years, this is the first season where Budmayr has been a full fledged assistant coach.
In the interview, Budmayr discusses the success of the wide receivers, particularly last week, where everyone said post game that it was their best week of practice. What did he see from them last week heading into the Washington game? He also discusses the development of Jacob Gill since arriving on campus, the emergence of Dayton Howard, and the return of Seth Anderson, and how a couple of other young receivers are developing.
