Julian Manson staying home

Class of 2026 linebacker Julian Manson is staying home. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound junior from Iowa City West announced today that he will be following in his father’s footsteps and playing college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The son of Jason Manson, who played quarterback at Iowa and is now director of player of development for the Hawkeyes, Julian has grown up around the program. Still, he made sure to do his due diligence and research all of his options during the recruiting process, which included scholarship offers from Kansas State, Minnesota, Miami, Arizona, New Mexico, Miami-OH, Kent State, Dartmouth, and North Dakota State. But all roads kept leading back to Iowa City for the four-star prospect.
