It’s a learning process for a true freshmen cornerback at the college level. That’s the process Kahlil Tate is experiencing right now during Iowa’s fall camp. He’s very appreciative of the of the help he has been receiving from veteran corners Cooper DeJean and Jermari Harris.

It is Harris that has been particularly helpful to Tate since the two are from the Chicago area and he hosted the then recruit on his official visit. He discusses that relationship and more importantly, what it’s like to be able to play for Iowa defensive coordinator Phil Parker.

Tate also let’s us know that he picked off a pass from Cade McNamara in practice and which true freshman wide receiver has impressed him in fall camp.
