Headlined by quarterback Cade McNamara and wideout Kaleb Brown, Iowa has made significant upgrades to its offensive talent this offseason.

Former Ohio State wide receiver Kaleb Brown is headed to Iowa. The 5-foot-10, 197-pound Brown announced his decision on Instagram moments ago following a visit to Iowa City this week once he entered the transfer portal on April 30.

A four-star recruit coming out of St. Rita High School in Chicago in the Class of 2022, Brown signed with Ohio State over a long list of suitors including scholarship offers from Alabama, Notre Dame, Michigan, Penn State, Florida, and Kentucky just to name a few.

Since entering the transfer portal this past week, Brown heard from Iowa, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M, among others, and quickly scheduled an official visit to Iowa City where he was hosted by quarterback Cade McNamara. The Hawkeyes were able to close to deal before Brown visited elsewhere in what is a big win for an Iowa team looking to revamp their offense in 2023 with McNamara at the helm.

Coming in, Brown has three years of eligibility remaining.
