Kaleb Brown not dressed against Purdue
Iowa wide receiver Kaleb Brown is not in uniform and will miss today’s game against Purdue. It’s been a frustrating season for Brown, who is yet to catch a pass for the Hawkeyes in the first five games. He has run the ball on a jet sweep two times for a total of eight yards.
Brown was a four star recruit and a consensus 107th best prospect in the recruiting class of 2022. He signed with Ohio State out of St. Rita High School in the Chicago area, after turning down offers from Alabama, Notre Dame, Michigan, Penn State, Florida, Iowa, and many others.
In his first year with the Buckeyes, he caught one pass, ironically against Iowa. This spring he decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal and quickly landed in Iowa City. Details of his injury are currently unknown.
