Keegan Murray talks golf and USA Basketball
Caitlin Clark isn’t the only former Iowa basketball player who is being mentioned with USA Olympic Basketball. On Friday, Keegan Murray will be headed to Las Vegas to participate in as a member of the USA Basketball select team that will practice with the USA Olympic Basketball team that will be competing later this month at the Paris Olympics.
Before heading to Las Vegas, Murray worked in a round of golf. But it wasn’t your typical round of golf. Murray played in the John Deere Classic Pro-Am on Wednesday afternoon and was part of a group with fellow Cedar Rapids native Zach Johnson.
Following the round, Murray talked about his golf game, playing with fellow Cedar Rapids native Zach Johnson, his USA Basketball opportunity, and playing against his brother Kris last year in the NBA.
