Kirk Ferentz updates offensive coordinator search
For the time being, Kirk Ferentz is focus on only one thing, the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl. But, once the Hawkeyes finish up their work in Orlando, the Iowa head coach will turn his attention back to the search for an offensive coordinator. Ferentz revealed today what his expected timeline is for hiring an offensive coordinator.
He also talks about his process of dealing with players who are considering returning for another year and if there are a few players that he thinks have made a leap during bowl prep. He also talks about his son, Brian, coaching his final game as Iowa’s offensive coordinator and what he is feeling about contest.
