Kirk Ferentz on the win over Minnesota
This Iowa team had been there before. In fact, it’s been there a couple of times already this year, down at the half and struggling to gain any sort of momentum. Once again, Kirk Ferentz and his staff had the magic formula to light a fire under the Hawkeyes and help them pull away for a 31-14 victory.
Following the win, Ferentz spoke with the media to discuss the team playing better in the second half and finishing off the Gophers in convincing fashion by playing their best half of the season. He also talks about the continued amazing performances by running back Kaleb Johnson and who he reminds him of as a back, plus a strong punting performance from Rhys Dakin.
