Kirk Ferentz updates roster, talks position depth
One of the good parts of Big Ten Media Day every year is when the media gets a chance to do a little housekeeping work with Kirk Ferentz. The Iowa head coach updates the roster and shares any injury updates regarding his players. He discusses safety Aidan Hall leaving the program recently and a few nagging injuries that should be fine by the time camp starts.
Ferentz also shares his thoughts on a couple of interesting position groups. As always that starts up front where he feels good about the offensive line, but has questions regarding the depth. He shares the same concerns about his defensive line, where the comfort level of playing players doesn’t go much beyond the starting unit. How does he plan on developing that depth?
