Kirk Ferentz gives initial thoughts on Music City Bowl
Kirk Ferentz has never met Eli Drinkwitz, but he will certainly be learning more about him in the coming weeks as his Iowa football team prepares to face the Missouri Tigers in the 2024 Transperfect Music City Bowl.
After learning about the match-up, Ferentz spoke to the Iowa media via zoom to give his thoughts on what he knows about Drinkwitz and his program. He also updates the potential opt outs for his program and the health of several players, including Brendan Sullivan, Reece Vander Zee, and Gennings Dunker. He discusses if Sullivan will be his starting quarterback in the bowl game, along with managing the calendar in the next couple of weeks heading into the bowl game.
