Murray continues strong play in victory
Since returning from a foot injury in late December, Kris Murray has been playing like a young man with a purpose. Iowa’s junior forward put together another dominant performance in front of several NBA scouts in attendance in the Hawkeyes 93-84 overtime victory over Michigan.
Murray finished his day with 27 points and 7 rebounds and was the able to maneuver to anywhere he wanted on the court and score or get foul line as needed. Following the hard-fought contest which Murray play all 45 minutes of action, he discusses how he as able to play the entire game, the importance of Payton Sandfort to this team, and the contributions of Josh Dix to the victory.
