It’s been a long journey and a winding road for Kylie Feuerbach during her collegiate basketball career. She started at Iowa State, transferred to Iowa, played a bit and then missed an entire season with a torn ACL, before another season where she came off the bench. Finally last year, Feuerbach got to be a full-time starter and played a career-high 864 minutes, including playing some of her best basketball over the second half of the season. Now, she’s hoping to take the five years of experience, the momentum she built late last year and turn it into the most productive season of her career.

After Thursday’s open media practice, Feuerbach spoke to the media, discussing her mindset going into her sixth season, why she decided to return for her final year of eligibility and what she’s doing to ensure that she hits the ground running with the same momentum she ended last year with.
