Leshon Williams enjoys win at home
Leshon Williams grew up in the Chicago area. But, Saturday was his first trip to the “Friendly Confines” of Wrigley Field. Williams is a south side of Chicago guy who venturing to the north side was something he never did. He’s also not a baseball guy, but he was enjoying his time running the football at Wrigley Field on Saturday afternoon.
Williams paced the Hawkeye attack and led the way for the offense on the ground. All those yards were hard to come by on Saturday behind what turned out to be a makeshift offensive line due to injuries. He talks about the Iowa offense and getting a win in his home town with many friends and family in attendance.
