Levar Woods on Iowa's special teams performance
It’s been a year of change for the Iowa special teams unit. It’s also been a season of issues in coverage for the Hawkeyes, particularly in punt returns. That’s been the challenge this year for Iowa special teams coordinator Levar Woods.
On Tuesday, Woods met with the media during Iowa’s bye week to discuss what he has seen from new punter Rhys Dakin and how he has handled consistency during is first year on campus. He also discusses those lapses in coverage and what he thinks of the new NFL kickoff return changes.
