One of the most highly anticipated games of each non-conference season for the Iowa women’s basketball team is the matchup against Iowa State in the Cy-Hawk Series. On Wednesday, the Hawkeyes will travel to Ames to face off against the Cyclones at Hilton Coliseum in the 54th all-time meeting between the schools. Iowa holds the all-time series lead 30-23 and has won six of the last seven meetings. Lisa Bluder is 12-11 during her career at Iowa against the Cyclones, with every single one of those 23 meetings coming against ISU head coach Bill Fennelly. Hilton Coliseum is sold out for Wednesday nights game.
