Lisa Bluder talks Senior Day, previews Ohio State
On Sunday afternoon, Iowa women’s basketball will honor five seniors for their efforts and accomplishments over the course of their careers. Caitlin Clark, Gabbie Marshall, Kate Martin, Molly Davis and Sharon Goodman all played a part in helping the Hawkeyes to their first ever national title game last season. Prior to the Senior Day festivities, on the court, Iowa will look to get revenge against Ohio State after they lost to them earlier in the season. It’s a huge game with Big Ten Tournament and NCAA Tournament implications.
Head Coach Lisa Bluder met with the media on Friday afternoon to preview the matchup against Ohio State, as well as discuss her group of seniors. Bluder talked about what the Hawkeyes need to improve on to defeat the Buckeyes on Sunday, as well what this senior class means to her.
