Over the last couple of seasons, the Iowa offensive line has taken its fair share of criticism. This season, the group has taken a step forward, ranking 19th in the country in run blocking grade (72.0) per Pro Football Focus and 32nd in pass blocking (76.5). Center Logan Jones has been one of the guys that has made significant strides, ranking as the 18th-best offensive lineman in the Big Ten, which is marked improvement from his 36th place ranking last season.

Today, Logan Jones met with the media, speaking about going up against teammate Yahya Black in practice and what makes him such a good defensive tackle. He also talked about facing Washington for the first time, the leadership of this team and why getting Kaleb Johnson going early in the run game is so important.
