Mark Gronowski discusses picking Iowa and recovery from surgery
For the first time since arriving in Iowa City in January, Mark Gronowski met with the media. The new graduate transfer quarterback covered a wide variety of topics in a very long first session with the Iowa media on a Thursday afternoon in Iowa City.
Gronowski talks about his time at South Dakota State and his start a couple of years ago against the Hawkeyes and what he took away from that game at Kinnick Stadium. He also talks about the process of being courted by Iowa and Kirk Ferentz. What that relationship was like and also his developing bond with Hawkeye offensive coordinator and quarterback coach Tim Lester and what that has been like this far.
He also talks about his off-season surgery and how his recovery is going thus far. Has he started doing any throwing and what is the timeline for him to be ready for full go later this spring?
