Fran McCaffery talks loss to Gophers
Fran McCaffery is usually very good about telling you what’s on his mind after any game. On Tuesday night the Iowa head coach said that if he told us what he was really thinking that he would end up with fine from the Big Ten. That’s his way of saying that the officiating in the game against Minnesota was not up to the standard he had hoped.
McCaffery spoke about the loss to the Gophers, the sluggish start to the game for the Hawkeyes and and if he thought about taking a timeout with around 30 seconds left and a chance to tie the game.
